J. Edward "Jed" Dery, III, CFSP |
| J. Edward "Jed" Dery, III, CSFP was born and raised in the small town of Dalton, Massachusetts in the Berkshires, just outside of Pittsfield, Massachusetts. Growing up, Jed appreciated and respected the funeral profession, as his family owned and operated three funeral homes in the Pittsfield area. He attended parochial schools from grammar school through high school. He continues his strong Catholic faith at Sacred Heart Church in Suffield. Jed attended Quinnipiac College in Hamden, Connecticut and received a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing in 1991. He then continued his education at Mt. Ida College in Newton, Massachusetts where he received an Associates degree in Mortuary Science in 1993. Jed has been an employee at Carmon Funeral Homes since June of 1993. He is a member of the Connecticut Funeral Directors Association and the National Funeral Directors Association. Jed, his wife Michele along with their two daughters, Jessica and Marissa, and one son, Nicholas, make their home in Suffield, Connecticut. |
